Still More Domliciousness

Here are screencaps of Dominic Monaghan's appearances in the third season of Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, at which time he was 20. There were nine episodes in this season (whereas all other seasons of HWI have six episodes only) so I've divided the season three caps onto two pages. This is the second page; page one is here.

4 April, 2005

It really annoys me that I should have to say this at all, but if you are going to use ANY of the content from this site on another site, please give me credit. Just an acknowledgement on a links or credit page that the screencaps came from here is fine. I've come across at least one site using my screencaps, refusing to credit, and then asking other people to credit HER for their use. I am extremely happy for people to use caps on their site. All I ask for is a credit that they originally came from here.

I made every single screencap and clip on this site myself. I have not used anything from other sites except their link banners and buttons.

If you have a question about why you can't directly link to my screencaps, or about why you can't see my clips, please click here.

Clicking on the mini image gets you to a bigger one.

Episode Eighteen - 'Pursuit By Proxy'

Geoffrey and Hetty discuss Mr Wainthropp's brother, who has arrived to "keep an eye on things" while Our Mr Wainthropp is in Australia. Does Mr W suspect Geoff and Hetty of... immoral behaviour? Other Mr Wainthropp is now making threatening noises about the interest-free loan the Wainthropps gave Geoffrey to buy his car. The old bastard. Kick him, Geoffrey! Don't just look worried! Note Other Mr Wainthropp looking lasciviously at Geoffrey. Grrr. Geoffrey makes it clear to Hetty that Other Mr Wainthropp is getting in the way. He's also booted Geoffrey out of his bedroom.
Geoffrey escapes to dally with Janet the Mechanic. Something's terribly wrong with the car she sold him. Janet, being no fool, finds Geoffrey's feeble attempt at sabotage. Geoffrey looks like a prat. He decides to show some tongue, so we all stop thinking he's a prat. It works. Other Mr Wainthropp isn't half as good a cook as Our Mr Wainthropp. Geoffrey finds this amusing for about four seconds.
Oo-er. Geoffrey in a suit. He's come up in the world, since this suit fits him a lot better than the one he wore in the first season.
Although he's still not great at keeping his tie straight... Janet the Mechanic might be able to help them out with information, and this time Geoffrey decides to look all pleading and hopeful to win her over. It worked! Geoffrey shows tongue as a reward!
I like driving in my car, it's not quite a Jaguar... Geoffrey overdoes the undercover explanations... And gets told off for it by Hetty. Even the tongue fails to move her. The immovable old hag. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a shot of Geoffrey being brave and leaping at the bloke with the gun to stop him killing someone - the action's too fast. So I give you a nice close-up to be going out on.

Episode Nineteen - 'A Minor Operation'

Hetty has to go into hospital. Geoffrey escorts her there, secretly rejoicing that he might get to Crack A Case all on his own.
Visiting hours. Geoffrey's so thoughtful. Driving lessons with Janet. She's explaining to Geoffrey that he needs to keep his hands on the steering wheel. Oooh, Geoff gives Janet a Meaningful Look. Does this look mean: A) "Oooh, you're cute, I'd like to kiss you," or B) "Eeek! A girl just touched me"? You be the judge.
Visiting time again. Hetty's telling Geoffrey about the hospital scandals. "Your ugly flowery nightie scares me, Mrs Wainthropp, so I'm going to go over there now." Obligatory tongue shot :) Awww, it's the bright-eyed and eager look back again. Geoffrey's talking to Hetty about the caravan company he's investigating.
Geoffrey and Janet get paid a fortune to drive a caravan to France. Geoffrey suspects criminal activity, but pauses for a while to show off his arms to Janet. Well, if you're going to show off your arms, you may as well do it properly. Geoffrey and Janet sit around awkwardly... and still sit around awkwardly...
and sit around awkwardly some more. Geoffrey in close-up, pondering how annoying all this awkward sitting around is getting. But wait! Janet, while averting her eyes from the magnificence that is Geoffrey, spots where the stolen jewellery is being hidden - and the case is cracked! At last Geoffrey and Janet snog, after the triumph of foiling the Ring of International Jewel Thieves. Ain't it romantic?

Episode Twenty - 'Helping Hansi'

Let's get the tongue out of the way right off, first thing... Poor Geoffrey. He gets the boring jobs every time, including crappy research... ...standing around in churches with Janet... ...playing chauffeur...
...smarming up to his girlfriend... ...going on the radio... ...waiting by the phone... ...and tramping around on farms. Again with the girlfriend...

...when of course, we know he's really just dying to get his hands on Hetty's plump flesh something else.
Like Mr Wainthropp.

I did not just type that.

Episode Twenty-One - 'How Time Flies'

(Sorry, haven't managed to cap this one yet. It's coming. Promise!)

On to the Season Four screencaps!
