Yet More
Domliciousness
Here are screencaps of Dominic Monaghan's appearances in
the third season of Hetty Wainthropp Investigates,
at which time he was 20. There were nine episodes in this
season (whereas all other seasons of HWI have six episodes
only) so I've divided the season three caps onto two pages.

It really annoys me that I should have to say this at all,
but if you are going to use ANY of the content from this
site on another site, please give me credit. Just an acknowledgement
on a links or credit page that the screencaps came from
here is fine. I am happy for people to use these caps on
their site. All I ask for is a credit that they originally
came from here. I made every single screencap and clip
on this site myself. I have not used anything from other
sites except their link banners and buttons.
If you have a question about why you can't directly
link to my screencaps, or about why you can't see my clips,

Episode
Thirteen - 'All Stitched Up'
Mr Wainthropp's injured himself, so Geoffrey's being
all domestic. How sweet.
The Wainthropps' son is coming to stay with them
for a while. Geoff's unhappy - they'll kick him out,
he'll be homeless again! But he tries not to show
it.
Geoffrey and Hetty are undercover, posing as a mother
and son - but if he's her son, why is he fondling
her hand?
Geoff complaining that he saved someone's life from
a firebombing, and the cops thought he was the one
what done it. Bastards!
Geoff and Hetty chuckle at Mr Wainthropp, who's
got all protective and wants to go with them.
Here begins the saga of Geoffrey and the Big Red
Screwdriver. He loves it. He keeps putting it in his
mouth.
Geoff's getting a big kick out of calling Hetty
"Mum".
But then he gets reminded that her real son is coming
back, and he gets all insecure, poor baby.
Mother and son out for a brisk walk in the lovely
Lancashire spring.
He does love sucking that screwdriver. Perhaps they're
not feeding him enough?
Could I be addicted to the screwdriver? Maybe. Oh,
the torment!
Junior Wainthropp is mentioned again, making poor
Geoffrey all nervous.
Geoff makes a feeble attempt at chatting up a girlie
for the sake of the investigation, not noticing her
boyfriends looming menacingly behind him.
Ahhh. Now he's noticed.
And they've dragged him off to a Secluded Area!
Run, Geoffrey, run! They could be serial killers!
Geoffrey gives them a bit o'lip. Brave, but foolish...
...as he soon discovers. Poor baby.
Some kindly neighbour has built the garden shed
for him since he was so crap at it. Geoff is upset,
because the only reason he was being so crap was so
that he could keep the red screwdriver a while longer.
And another little bit of tongue, as he worries
over how he's going to get his screwdriver now.
Ooooh! Threatened with a deadly weapon!
Poor Geoff. He seems to be spending a lot of time
on the ground this episode.
Geoffrey and Hetty confer.
And all ends well. Cheers! Only Hetty and Geoffrey
would be celebrating the end of a case with tea.
Be thankful I didn't make a cap of every shot in
which Geoffrey was sucking the Big Red Screwdriver.
There are lots of them.
Episode Fourteen - 'Daughter
of the Regiment'
Early rehearsal for his role as Merry; got to munch
that apple just right, you know.
Hetty sings. Geoffrey wishes he was elsewhere.
Hetty's happy - she's seen someone she knows. Geoffrey's
just relieved that she's stopped singing.
Geoff and a rather under-the-weather Mr Wainthropp
ponder Hetty's eccentricities.
Cute. I really like this shot.
Hetty explains to Geoffrey how to do
an Australian accent, but he's not so sure.
But it's beginning to appeal to him, if only because
it might get rid of the godawful arrangement of
"Waltzing Matilda" playing in the background...
However, when it comes to posing as
an Aussie, Geoffrey's performance leaves something
to be desired.
Hetty's rifling a hotel room while Geoffrey keeps
watch; but he's spotted someone coming!
Geoffrey distracts the bloke by trying to chat him
up. It's this big, honest!
The bloke is frightened off, and the Dynamic Duo
make a getaway. Ahahahahaha.
Quietly Contemplative Geoffrey.
Sleepy early morning Geoffrey asks Mr Wainthropp
how to pick up girls. Gah?
And this shot is a very early rehearsal for
his role in An Insomniac's Nightmare.
Geoffrey's just been snubbed by a chick he fancies,
poor baby.
But fortunately the case has turned out well. If
extremely dull :)
Episode Fifteen - 'Serving the
Community'
The Wainthropps gloat with pleasure over their son
coming home, while poor Geoffrey feels a bit forlorn.
Answering the door, with tongue.
Now they're remodelling his room around him. Poor
baby. More forlornness.
Geoffrey's been ordered by Mr Wainthropp to ride
shotgun for Hetty's protection. Heh heh heh.
This, of course, involves lots of skulking...
And moments of incredible boredom.
And hiding behind big sunnies.
Geoffrey consults Mr Wainthropp about his image.
Mr Wainthropp as image consultant, heh heh heh.
TA-DA!!!
It's the New Geoffrey!
He's still very cute, but there's just something
so WRONG about it...
So he decides to try something else! Oh yeah, bare
shoulders - enjoy.
Silly Hat Day!
Ahahaha. This is why it's Silly Hat Day!
And now it's Silly Hat And Silly Gesture Day!
That's better.
Although the image is still worrying him a bit...
But Mrs Wainthropp likes him this way. Dirty old
cow.
Episode Sixteen - 'Fisticuffs'
Geoffrey sucks up to Hetty by giving her flowers.
Hetty is delighted.
The sucking up worked! Geoffrey has been promoted
to full partner with a share of profits!
Due to his newfound status, he's decided to put
on his Serious Face when he does the interrogation
thing.
Hetty and Geoffrey on the job.
Still practicing his Serious Face.
Compare those arms to what they were in the first
season. Looks like Geoffrey's been working out. Rrrrawrrrr.
But he obviously hasn't been working out enough
to catch the elusive jogging witness to the crime.
Since being fit and athletic didn't work, Geoffrey
decides to be sneaky and spy-rific instead.
He gets his butt kicked by Janet the mechanic and
falls on his arse, little knowing that she will turn
out to be his twoo wuv. Ain't that sweet?
Geoffrey displays his bruises and his underwear
to Hetty. Lucky Hetty.
Then he goes and gets all sweaty in a club and gets
stroked by predatory females...
... resulting in him staggering into the Wainthropps'
bedroom, pissed as a newt, at some ungodly hour and
scaring the crap out of them. Bwahahahaha.
Hetty gets bad news and grasps Geoffrey's hand for
comfort. Lucky Hetty.
Sadly, her conscience won't allow her to accept
the two grand they've been given as "hush money".
Geoffrey is indignant.
But of course he decides to let Hetty get her way.
What is it with that old bat, anyway? Not only does
she get to grope and perve at Geoffrey, but she gets
her own way in everything!
Episode Seventeen - 'Childsplay'
Having got his learner's permit to drive an actual
car, Geoffrey goes car shopping and encounters Janet
the Mechanic again.
Since he can't afford a car, he goes off gardening.
Where he talks to the plants, demonstrating how
very much he needs to get out more..
DomArms.
And DomTongue.
Janet tries to sell Geoffrey a car. Geoffrey and
Janet go for a drive. See Geoffrey drive. Drive, Geoffrey,
drive.
When the car breaks down and Janet proves to be
a truly crap mechanic, however, they have to spend
the night in the car together. Of course, Janet can't
resist draping herself all over Geoff during the night,
the strumpet.
Huh? That's funny, I don't remember doing that
last night...
Janet does not impress Hetty when telling her that
she and Geoffrey "spent the night together". Geoffrey
is taken aback because Hetty sees Janet for the strumpet
that she is.
Then Geoffrey finds Janet half-naked and draped
all over some sexy surfer dude. Poor Geoffrey. See
Geoffrey sulk. Sulk, Geoffrey, sulk.
And here we present... Undercover Geoffrey, the
Naughty Schoolboy. Hens nights a specialty.
Schoolboy Geoffrey needs to be seen to be a troublemaker
very quickly. He begins by being rude to the lunchlady
(who is actually Undercover Hetty)...
Then he smokes!
Eeeek!
And being generally cheeky, he gets noticed by the
Evil High School Drug Cabal and tries to infiltrate
them.
However, he realises he's in a bit over his head...
And he gets threatened. And they should have had
him being beaten up, but the show is WAY too wussy,
so he gets away...
And then Janet brings the car round,
and Geoffrey finds out that Janet's "boyfriend" is
actually a gay friend, and that makes him all happy.
But is he happy because he wants Janet, or because
he wants the sexy surfer gay guy? Only time will tell!
